I’ve Retired from Blogging

But don’t worry. I’m still writing online. In fact, I have a new website, a multi-contributor journal called Religion at the Margins. I’ve transferred some of my old posts over there. I’m still deciding which posts to transfer. Some I’m going to rewrite slightly or completely before I do, so the process may be slow. But more importantly, I’ll be continuing to write at the new site, just not in a blog format. The new format is necessary for me, since I spend too much time blogging and commenting and not enough time with my real responsibilities.

One day I may return to the old-fashioned blog format, but hopefully not any time soon. If this is a disappointment to some of you, I genuinely am sorry. However, this is a necessary step for me at this point in my life, and my wife’s happy about it, so enough said.

I may still post some things like updates and links here from time to time, I may not. If you want to sign up for email updates (see right-hand column), you’ll know when I do, on those rare occasions. This site isn’t going away, but the blogging part of it is over for now.

One more thing: if you signed up for email updates to this blog in the past and want to continue to get updates on what I write, I encourage you to sign up again for email updates over at the new website. You can also “like” my Facebook pages (see right-hand column) and get regular updates on what I write that way.

Thanks so much to all my readers and conversation partners! I’m not leaving you; I’m just transitioning into a new phase. I want to keep up with you all and I hope you stay in touch as well.

All the best,
Thom
